The Not So Bad Boys of Rock Series

What readers are saying…

Across the Miles

“Mind if I join you?” came a deep voice, sounding a little out of breath and dangerously close. I turned and gasped, immediately drawn to the sapphire blue eyes staring back at me.

I’m emotionally exhausted after reading this book.

Sebastian Miles is the lead singer of the band Paradox. He has just completed rehab and is looking to get his life back together after a tragic event that turned his world upside down 2 years prior.

Brooke Caldwell is a culinary chef looking to pursue an opportunity of a lifetime in LA. Brooke also has some emotional scars from her past.

Brooke has a brief encounter with Sebastian at the beach, he seems familiar to her but she can’t quite place him. While Brooke is leaving the beach she is reminded how cruel the world can really be. Sebastian finds her laying in the pathway and takes her to his place where his doctor helps her. Brooke ends up staying with Sebastian while she heals and they start to bond and grow closer.
Will Brooke get the job that will bring her to LA? Will they be able to make the distance work for them if she doesn’t?

I know that I’m supposed to be the strong one here Brooke, but I’m not. I’m sorry, but when it comes to you, I am weak.

This is the first book in the “The Not So Bad Boys of Rock” by Rhonda James. This is a great read that will take you through an emotional rollercoaster with Brooke and Sebastian. I loved Sebastians family and band mates, they added a great element to the story. There is also a huge twist that will leave quite the cliffhanger. If you like Hot Rocker romance you will love this must read series. ~M. Austin, Amazon Reviewer

Across The Miles is hands down one of the best romance books that I have read in a long time! I first read the online version of this book and ended up not being able to stop reading it. I ultimately finished it within 48 hours. The thing that I liked most about this book is the fact that it is a romance novel, but it isn’t chalk full of erotica. The reader gets to see a real relationship form between Sebastian and Brooke. The book is written beautifully and well put together. At the end of the book, I was just dying to find out what happens next. Now that I have the paperback copy, I will most definitely be reading it over and over again. Simply cannot wait for the next installment!! ~Shelby Young, Amazon Reviewer

Miles Apart

The love story between Sebastian and Brooke is getting more complicated by the minute. It’s evident that they are both crazy about each other; but sometimes that’s just not enough to hold a relationship together. They often argue and are hardly ever on the same page when it comes to making life decisions. Each has made bad choices during their time together, but they are both too stubborn to admit it. As time passes, Brooke becomes even more self absorbed. Sebastian is at his breaking point. He loves her with all his heart but soon realizes he’s going to have to let her go. Will Brooke come to her senses before he learns how to live without her?

I am totally addicted to so many of the characters in this well written story. I felt like I was sitting on pins and needles the entire time I was reading this book. Kudos’s to you Rhonda James….I love this series. ~Stephanie Lasley, The Kindle Book Review

Love Rhonda James… she brings the characters to life ~Amazon Reviewer

So after reading the first book in the series, I couldn’t wait to see what happened with Brooke and Sebastian. I loved this book just as much as the first. Sebastian and Brooke had many ups and downs. Most of the time I was debating whether they would even end up together or how their relationship would turn out? I loved this story because it was not a true fairy tale. Their were parts that were not so romantic and parts that left me screaming at the screen. I liked it because it was what you go through in real life. I thought at times Sebastian was very whiny, annoying, and jealous, but we all go through that in relationships. I loved the ending with this book. I will not spoil it, but it was pretty great. Overall I think it was a fantastic love story and didn’t want it to end. I’m a huge fan of Brooke and Sebastian. I Can’t wait to see if their will be a third book in this series. ~Head Tripping Books Review
